PATENTED FOUR-BAR WALL CLOSURE |
The greatest stress on any above-ground pool occurs at the wall
joint. A weak wall joint will compromise the strength and stability
of the pool wall, and is likely to cause damage to the pool over
time. All Polar family pools feature our patented Four Bar Wall
Closure. This exclusively designed closure
system uses two aluminum bars on each end of the pool
wall. The closure is then secured with strategically positioned
bolts, insuring proper assembly and maximum stability. In comparison,
most pool Manufacturers use only one bar on each end of the pool
wall. Which system would you want on your pool?

alone with no additional supports!

COPPER-BEARING STEEL
|
Copper-bearing is an extra additive to steel that increases
the life of the steel. The steel is treated with copper-bearing alloy
prior to any other treatment. Adding molten copper to the steel
core provides extra protection against rust and corrosion.

GALVANIZATION
|
Galvanization is a process in which our steel pools are
"Hot-Dipped" with a protective coating of Zinc. Zinc is a
useful rust-proofing element due to its unusual ability to bleed
into a scratch on any steel surface, protecting the raw steel
from oxidization. The amount of Zinc applied to pool walls and
frames varies from pool to pool. The galvanization treatment is
rated numerically according to the amount of Zinc added to each
square foot of surface area. For example, a G-60 rated pool contains
.6 ounces of Zinc per square foot; a G-90 rated pool contains
.9 ounces of Zinc per square foot. All family pools sold by Polar Pools
have at least a G-90 rating, and many of our models boast
a G-115 rating (one of the highest ratings in the pool industry),
containing 1.15 ounces of Zinc per square foot.
