AquaRite Salt Water Systems

What makes the Goldline AquaRite system unique?

1.  Digital Salt Readout

The AquaRite system has a digital salt readout on the control panel.  This helps to give the pool owner a more accurate idea of the salt level than a simple dummy light like most of the other systems have.

One word of caution about the digital salt readout.  f the cell gets scaled up or fails for some reason, it can give a false low salt reading, even if the salt level is OK.  Suppose you add a bunch of salt to the pool (thinking the salt level is low when it is actually OK).  What happens?  Yup . . . now you have a salt level that is way to high and now you have to drain the pool down.  So while the digital readout is a nice feature, we always recommend checking the salt level with a separate test kit before adding salt.

2.  Jandy Interface

The AquaRite system is designed to interface with the Jandy AquaLink system.  This allows the pool owner to monitor and control the system from the AquaRite indoor control panel.  NOTE:  This feature may be discontinued at some point since Jandy now has their own salt system.

How does the AquaRite system work?

The System

The system creates a small amount of chlorine in the pool from the mild salt level that is in the pool.  When the chlorine is used, it turns back into salt, ready to turn into chlorine again.

The cell reverses its electrical polarity periodically to eliminate any scale buildup.
